• MicroGen.zip (1.835 KB): software application package containing all files and subdirectories necessary to run MicroGen.
  

  Content:

  • MicroGen\: the main directory, containing all the ASP files of the system.

  • MicroGen\database\: a subdirectory with the MS-Access relational databases.

  • MicroGen\files_excel\: the system subdirectory where the files with the quantification results uploaded by the processing operator will be are saved. Initially this folder only contains a read_me text file.

  • MicroGen\files_image\: the system subdirectory where the array image files obtained by the hybridization operator will be saved. Initially this folder only contains a read_me text file.

  • MicroGen\files_labeling\: the system subdirectory where the files with the list of all clones spotted on the arrays of an experiment will be saved. Initially this folder only contains a read_me text file.

  • MicroGen\images\: the subdirectory with all the images used in the MicroGen ASP files.

  • MicroGen\inc\: the subdirectory containing all files with the inclusions necessary to the correct working of the system.

 

Required additional software

The MicroGen system is composed of Active Server Page files, and uses a relational database created in MS Access. Thus, in order to run MicroGen, at least the following software are required to be installed on the computer where MicroGen will be installed and run:

• Windows operating system
• Internet Information Server (IIS) web server
• Microsoft Access
• Microsoft Excel is recommended
